3 Conditions For Creating A Successful Corporate Event

Corporate events are acquiring greater relevance as they become one of the most important marketing tools. Events are a unique way to establish solid relationships with the target groups of your brand. It is about creating a unique moment to tell your story. That unique moment can be extended in time and space if you make the event memorable.

To help you to create this unique moment, we have created a checklist of 3 conditions to see if your event will be extended in time and space.

The 3 conditions are engaging, photogenic and experiential.

ENGAGING

An event is not just about food, drinks, decoration and a cool DJ. You need to be empathetic about your audience and know what they love. Take them out of their comfort zone, tickle their senses, blow their minds away and they will be proud to be at your event. Once they are proud to be a part of the experience, they will share the story. Not only online on digital media, but also anytime they are meeting people. The level of engagement will depend a lot on the photogenic scenes on the event.

PHOTOGENIC

You all know people like to share their experiences online. Your event needs to have a couple of photogenic moments. Photogenic does not always mean expensive. You need a caterer? Push him towards beauty and creativity. Details will make the difference.

Event designers need to be more aware of this item. Event managers can learn new skills, but can also make sure they are surrounded by people who have skills for designing spaces and other event set-ups.

EXPERIENTIAL

No matter how fast corporate events evolve or how technically advanced they are, ultimately they have to provide a memorable social experience. Times may change, but our basic needs remain the same : we want to be entertained. We want to experience a moment of pleasure.

You do not need to re-imagine Tomorrowland. Just be creative within your event concept. Make sure your event is coherent, and that every moment suits the overall concept. This will already make a great difference.

Good luck organising your next corporate event!
